Cipralex and vitamin C

Hey there

I've been in cipralex for 2 months now and everything is going ok. I recently caught a cold and I was wondering what I can take it to help get rid of it. I think I read somewhere that it's not good to take cold medicine. Is it safe to take vitamin c at least ? And if so how mane grams? When I wasn't on cipralex I used to take 500g during winter occasionally for like one month.

Thanks a lot

Yes you can take vitamin c I would recommend 2,000mg.

You can take vitiamans and u should b ok with cold/flu remidies just avoid ones eith caffine in

irene

If the cold has passed all should be ok.

Taking vit C, personally I would just eat an orange, the fruit will do you more good on a daily basis.

I do not know any reasons for taking cold medications if the cold has gone. If you have a sore throat or a cough there are many different cough medicines to take in the chemist, ask the pharmacist regarding the best one for you.

Sometimes Paracetamol and a touch of lemon juice and honey warmed up does the trick.

Good Luck
