Hi Rich,
Just this week I have gone on to 15mg mirt at night along with 30mg cit in the mornings. I was originally started on 20mg cit about 9 weeks ago, wasn't doing the job for my anxiety so upped it to 40mg for a month but had serious insomnia. Now we have introduced the mirt on tuesday of this week and I am not only sleeping much better but feeling more positive than I have in a while :-) Suppose it's trial and error to get something that suits but don't give up and give it a whirl is what i'd say. You will feel drowsy at first but that's normal x
Hi joanne, thanks for reply. Yeah i have been on mirtazapine for 2 months now. Gp just introduced citalopram in morning. Just never had two anti depressants prescribed at once.
Whats the shortest time you have gone between doses? Eg if you get up late, would that effect the two doses being closer together?
cheers

Hi Rich,
My GP told me to take the Mirt at around 10pm at night. I take my Cit first thing in the morning but yesterday I had a lie in for example and didn't take it until 11am. I wouldn't worry at all about how much time has elapsed in between taking them. I'm no medical expert but i'm fairly sure once it's in your system a few hours here or there shouldn't matter. Who cares as long as it's working! x
