Hi my doctor started me on citalopram for my health anxiety which has been terrible this past year and also propanolol for my heart palpitations, im experiencing occasional stomach pain, feeling tired after 12 hours awake and sleep more, brain fogginess/light headed and decreased appetite which I hate has anyone experienced similar side effects to what I'm going threw and does it pass. I'm on 10mg of citalopram a day and 20mg the other.
It's the cit that is causing the side affects will last a couple of weeks then you will feel better am on 10mg of cit and 20mg of propanorol 3 times a day for the same palpitations doing my head in can't seem to get rid of them seem worse through the night for me
Citalopran can cause an upset stomach and all the other symptoms your getting, they should pass as they start to get into your system x
When do you take the meds? My palpitations got worse for like 2 days on them but now gradually improving
