Hi all, I'm a week into citalopram , 10mg, I was just wondering if anyone got acne from it at all? I've suddenly got so many spots just after a week, and slresdy gained abit of weight! It makes me crave sugar SO much. Anyone else find they get acne at all?? My doctor never told me much of the side effects really x
Hi, I got really bad spots on my back when I first started taking citalopram. They calmed down in a couple of months. Told my GP and she said it wasn't a side effect but it clearly is. I do get a few spots anyway but this was a lot more than normal.

I put on a few pounds, but nothing major. Apparently it can increase your appitite or suppresses it.
I started taking them 18 months ago for anxiety mainly around my health. They didn't eliminate the things I worried about but did make react to situations differently and be more calm.
I'm currently coming off them because they give me acid, but I'm regretting it feel really depressed now. Starting on some new ones so I'm hoping they kick in soon, but these too make u put on weight so I'm worried x
