Citalopram, menstrual cycle and ibuprofen

Hi everyone,

I am going into my 6th week on citalopram.
still feeling fuzzy in the head throughout the day and my nerves are still sensitised.

My monthly is right around the corner and i usually get very bad cramping. Im wondering if anyone knows if citalopram helps with period cramping or if i can take ibuprofen?
I usually take 600mg but im not sure if thats a good idea.

anyway, i would love e to hear others experince or if anyone has any knowledge on this

ibuprofen unfortunately isnt meant to be taken with citalopram because of the increased risk of blood thinning :frowning:

do you know if there is anything i can take?

panadol is fine - if in doubt chat to a pharmacist but i know for sure that brufen and aspirin are no nos xxx
