So I recently received citalopram 10mg for my depression to take daily after debating going to the doctor for a very long amount of time and a few canceled appointments. I took it for about a week and stopped due to the disturbing side effects and crippling anxiety. It had never been so bad. My depression got drastically worse over the week following my stop of the medicine. Not really sure what to do as both options seem hopeless at the moment.
Keep going with the citalopram I'm taking that and as soon as u take it for 2 to 4 weeks the side effects ease off.

I would definitely go back to your doctor and explain everything to them because I had the same problem with another antidepressant tablets and my doctor said not every tablet works for everyone and that's why theres normally more than one tablet type to treat things.
