Hopefully someone can help me with this question!
I have taken Citalopram for many years and 18 days ago had my dose increased from 30mg to 40mg. The first week or so I had quite bad side effects but noticed that the last two days were good - I felt happy, my stomach wasn't upset etc etc, but today for some reason I've felt some anxiety again and wondered if it's normal to be up and down like this!

When I started taking the 40mg I had a few issues, but my doc suggested
I take it at night so I sleep through that. So I changed and took it about
an hour before I was going to bed, it also helped relax me because that
did make me want to doze when taking in the a.m.

Hi Sue. I am also on 40mg from 30mg. I find 40mg is better and i am stronger now, but i do have off days. Quite often actually. It doesnt toally get rid of anxiety but it has really helped me. I didnt have any really noticable side effects when i increased my dose...xxx
Hello i took them for 3 days and i felt worse i couldnt sleep and felt dizzy at work it was like i had been on the beer for a while.
