I am on citalopram and betablockers just to get through the door at work as it has gone from bad to worse in the office with staff cuts. I am looking for a new job but obviously it takes time. Meanwhile I am getting more and more stressed, I am being pulled for slamming the phones down and bringing everyone else down because of my low moods. I don't know what to do or how to stay calm, the noise gets unbearable with all the shouting and phones ringing.
Is anyone else in the same boat, at the end of my tether with it, I am drinking more too to block out the next day
Hi i know how u feel ive been on citalopram 4 just ova 3 months now & even tho im beta than i was dont feel 100%, like u avin ■■■■ at work there was more redundancies last week & loads of back stabbing going on some aimed at me ,blokes who i thought was my mates but finding out who my real mates r now.With all this going on feel worse last few weeks cause of those wankers ive 2 been looking but doesnt seem a lot out there take care
i've got the same problem, i've been so stressed out and anxious due to work its not a joke! i've been off for a week and i'm going in 2moro i'm going to lie and sa i had a cold or something lol i went to my doctors and they perscribed me some antidepressants, I cant wait until they start working because i'm starting to think is it worth it?? i cant stand the side effects i'm tremberling i cant sleep its wack
but i gotta think positive in about a month i'll b cool
thanks for your posts , at least I am not alone. Messina, your doctor should be able to sign you off sick for a week for the side effects to wear off or do you not want to go down the sick note route. I have only been back to work for 6 weeks after a period of 2 months off with anxiety and depression and I feel worse than ever, having chest pains as we speak.
