Hey everyone x so I was on citalopram for 5 years with amazing sucess at 20mg. Then it pooped out so switched to sertraline which was horrible for me. Now back on 40mg of citalopram and feel horrific
Anxiety
Depression
Brain fog
Muscle aches
Fatigue
Headaches
Shaking
Palpitations
I was wondering of anyone had sucess on citalopram in the past but had to move to lexapro and it worked for them as I’m feeling desperate. Really worried about making a switch and making things so much worse.

Not sure if this is any consolation but I was on Lexapro for quite some time. I tried other medications and none of them worked except for the Lexapro. My doctor said that Celexa what is the closest thing to Lexapro. I never tried it, but he wanted me to switch to it for some reason. I never did I kept with the Lexapro, but I always thought of trying the Celexa.
thanks for replying x I’ve just got off the phone to the doctor and looks like I’ll be swapping next week after crippling depression coming back again and again. absaloutly terrified about swapping again. how many other ones did you try first before trying lexapro?
