Citalopram with kalms?

Hey everyone
Is it ok to take kalms with citalopram? I’ve been having trouble sleeping lately and I wondered if they would help. I sometimes take rescue pastilles but they don’t do anything for me. Thanks.

Hi Lina
I was stopped taking Kalms before I started Citalapram.
On the leaflet it says do not take if you are on other medication for stress or anxiety.

I take Kalms one a night & it defo helps me get to sleep. This and listening to audio books. Kalms is a herbal medication so it shouldn’t interfere. The only herbal medication it advises you not to take is ST Johns Warts (I think that’s what it’s called)

Please be careful Lina, the Kalms leaflet says not to take with any anti anxiety medication. Best to check with your doctor, as it could increase your serotonin.

I haven’t taken any, my sleep has improved lately. In fact, today has been a really good day too. I’ve been out in my car and shopping. I’ve had these really good days before though and they have been short lived. Keeping my fingers crossed. Hope you are doing ok and all is well at work.
