Has anyone found success after 4 and a half weeks on citalopram?
Had it for anxiety.
Hi Rox. I used it for a couple of months but didn't find it great. I switched to ecitalopram and found it to much better, with fewer side effects. Only downside is I've now been on it for around a decade and it's suddenly stopped working. Like...overnight! I need to get blood tests and I carry out a hormone profile and thyroid function in case something actual and not imagined in my mind is causing the sudden reemergence of severe anxiety. I'm 41 so it's not out of the question that I might be peri menopausal. The joys. Hope you feel better soon xx
Hi Rox , I started on Citalopram 10 mg 4 weeks ago had no affect, went back to the doctor he put me on 20 mg, been on 20 mg for 2 weeks and a big improvement, it take’s time for them to work, hang in there you will see a difference, good luck.
Hi. I've been on 20mg for a week. I was just wondering if 4 and a half weeks is normal to see an improvement because I feel I have improved a bit.
Hi we are all different, it can take 6 weeks before you feel any improvement, I'm on 6 mg lorazipam as well.
