Been to doctors today, doctor decided to up my medication from 10mg to 20mg can somebody reassure me that it will put me on the right track and that I won't have to go through the side effects that I had starting out on the tablets 6 weeks ago.

Hi there, unfortunately it's almost impossible to tell how your body will react but I think that because your body has gotten used to citilopram already you're unlikely to have the side effects all over again. No guanantee sadly but I hope it all goes smoothly for you x
Jean you can experience side effects whenever you have an increase in your dosage, but according to my friends and family who are taking this med, they weren't as bad as beginning the med. Plus they feel the increase made a huge difference in making them fee better. I'm thinking I may ask for it myself. I tried Prozac, but had too much joint pain with that. Good luck!
