Having kidney failure stg4. Can you develop Addison disease on top of the kidney disease. Anyone help.
As I understand they often go hand in hand. Your adrenals actually sit on top of your kidneys. I was diagnosed when I began losing too much salt. This is a complicated process but it is all endocrine nased. The kidneys don't recieve what they need or there is dysfunction in the kidney or tubules. There are many resources for addisons patients where you can obtain factual information.

They thought addisons was the cause of my issues but the test came back as a no. So they do go together.
