I'm new to the site. had an ear infection back in 2014. Ever since then, I have a clicking in my ear when I swallow. I've been to the doctor a couple time for it in 2015 and all they did was prescribe for drops and said they didn't see anything. I'm making an appointment to see a specialist. I was wondering if anyone has had this issue or an idea of what's going on
I have always had this when I swallow in both ears. I thought everyone had it but obviously not. It doesn't bother me though. I would be interested to hear what the ENT says!!
Sounds as though it may be your jaw bone may be a tad out of joint
How do to u deal? It's when I yawn and eat. Sometimes it's not noticeable and sometimes it's just annoying lol

I get crackling from my ears when I yawn but not when I eat. I wonder if your more your jaw than ears? Can you describe the sound more? Is is quiet clicking or more of a thudding sound in time with jaw movement? Is it loud or soft? Does it echo?
I wish I could describe it more. I'm not sure. It's probably more of popping noise with jaw movement when yawning but not when swallowing
