I'm 7 weeks since TRHR, with the posterior method, and was given clearance to go over the 90 degrees last week. So I've been standing and raising my knee over the 90 degrees to stretch it, but I hear a click noise. And I can't tell if it's my hip or lower back, anybody experience this?

I have been getting this when doing my standing leg raises and its been getting worse. I asked the physio yesterday what it was. He told me that the hip socket is no longer as smooth as it used to be due to the new joint and I still have quite a bit of swelling. So what is happening is the muscles / tendons are running over the new joint and catching making the click.
As I have a good range of movement in that direction, he has advised me to stop that exercise to try and let things settle down a bit.

I should have said that I have a physical sensation that accompanies the click, so I know it is in the hip region.... Yours might be different?
I did my standing knee raise (above 90 degrees) again today, but much slower and the clicking is def in the hip. I'll take your guys advise and ease off this stretch.
How many week post op are you?
If your at all concerned, i would always advise getting it checked out...
I am now 15 weeks post op.
