Hi everyone,

I was prescribed Clomipramine 25mg 6days ago by my gp for anxiety and depression. My question is since taking it I find myself very exhausted every morning. And even through the day. Has anyone experienced this on this medication? Do these symptoms wear off?

Hello,

I'm guessing that your doctor might have prescribed this for OCD - am I correct?

I tried adding it to my Prozac about 20 years ago to help with my OCD symptoms.

It was perhaps the greatest drug to help alleviate the symptoms, but after a few days,

the side effects (constipation & light-headedness) were too much.

If you can deal with the side effects, it ought to help you out.

Good luck & feel better!

Many meds make you feel worse until they fully kick in. Didn't your doctor tell you this? If the side effects are bearable perservere as it can take up to 6 weeks to help. If they aren't then go back to your doctor and try something else.
