I recently quit taking 25 mg a day, which I have took for about 11 years. I’m experiencing a lot of stomach cramps and loose stools daily. Usually in morning and after I eat. Doctor said I his is a possible withdrawal effect and should last more than two weeks. It’s been a almost two weeks and has improve a little. Has anyone else had this symptom or having it? How long does it last? I love not being constipated from the drug but I don’t like having the opposite!
In my humble opinion, I think you came of it to quickly, although your almost there now so I would suggest just carry on.
Myself I would of started by cutting the pill in half for two weeks and taper off slowly.

You stopped taking the medication suddenly, of course you will suffer with withdrawal symptoms. They may last for weeks. Any time you stopped taking anti depressant you should always consult your doctor.
I did wean myself off. I took a pill every other day for three weeks then went to a pill every three days for two weeks and then nothing. Hoping it starts getting better soon. Thank you for your reply.

Go to your Doctors about it that's all I can say
