Cluster symptoms getting worse, what do I do next

Hello.

Last summer, some strange symptoms started happening in my life but they were intermittent. I didn't give them much thought at the time, and figured that I just wasn't sleeping enough because of my job (which I left at the end of August).

Among these symptoms were:

Random uncontrollable shaking of the eyes when focusing at objects within close range

Blurry vision

Dizzyness

Fecal incontinence (liquid leakage every now and then)

Brain fog

Tremors that start at the bottom of the back of my neck and travel down my arms (usually right arm)

Clicking noise in my left ear only, but it only happens when certain appliances are turned on (particularly air conditioners), the clicking noise stays until they're turned off (noise gets louder internally if I close my left ear)

Feeling like I'm about to faint/strange empty feeling in my head

After leaving that job, the symptoms temporarily improved for a few weeks, then resumed and began to get steadily worse. Plus new symptoms starting emerging. The eye shakiness, which was previously only happening once or twice a week, started happening every other day, and by November, every single day. By now, it's happening not only every day, but up to 20 times a day, sometimes even when I'm driving.

Other new symptoms that emerged include:

Intermittent headaches that feel like I've been struck in the head, severe for about 10 seconds before vanishing

Random fiery muscle pain that occurs with no trigger, lasts days before disappearing

Excessive fatigue regardless of sleep/diet/etc

Forgetfulness

Balance issues, constantly wobbly and feeling like I'm being tugged in different directions (stairs are difficult for me now)

Difficulty moving my jaw to talk, makes me sound drunk

Prolonged muscle spasms, everywhere

My eye problems have gotten significantly worse. Not only do my eyes dart back and fourth horizontally when focusing on objects within close range, but now I keep having episodes where everything seems way too bright, as if my eyes were fully dilated. When this happens, I can't even look at my computer screen or TV since it hurts my eyes. I can't read books or novels at all anymore, my eyes simply refuse to follow the words and sentences (I'll read the same line over and over again, then jumping up a paragraph, stopping in the middle of sentences, then down several paragraphs, etc). None of these symptoms were happening a year ago. And they all started around the same time in the summer.

I've been reluctant to seek medical attention or tell anyone of these symptoms until a month ago. I went to an eye doctor and had an evaluation, where it was determined that there was nothing wrong with my eyes themselves (they did note some shaking during certain tests), other than my optic nerves were "much larger than normal" and that I was at a higher risk for glaucoma because of this, but I don't believe that's related. Everything else was normal, aside from a slight "prescription" in my left eye (not bad enough to warrant corrective vision).

I scheduled a visit to my doctor upon their recommendation, primarily for the eye-shaking thing. I told him some (not all) of these symptoms. I got blood work done and that came back normal. Did a hearing test, which came back normal (which I already knew). So then a brain MRI was ordered, which came back normal (they didn't even tell me, I had to call after several weeks of not hearing anything). So I just spoke to the doctor about how to proceed, and he said there's nothing more they can do. So basically "good luck with that, have a nice life". I'm very annoyed. I get this vibe that he thinks I'm full of crap.

I'm male and 25 years old. I'm not taking any medication. I do have chronic anemia, of unknown causes (had it forever). I also had two hospitalizations for small bowel obstructions, one of which required surgery, in June 2015 and April 2016.

I'm very annoyed at their careless "we don't know what it is and we don't care, now screw off and don't bother us" attitude toward all of this. Honestly, I can live with most of the symptoms, as annoying as they are. But the vision and balance problems actually interfere with my daily life, and even dangerous as now they're happening when I'm driving and I'm completely blind when my eyes are shaking like that. It keeps getting worse and worse and I don't know what to do next. I just want my freaking eyes to stop shaking, and to be able to read normally again and walk without feeling like I'm going to fall over.

What on Earth am I to do next? See another doctor, or what?

TL;DR version:

Cluster of strange physiological symptoms began last summer, most notably involuntary eye-shaking when focusing at objects within close range, and balance issues. Steadily getting worse, impairing daily life. Blood tests, hearing tests, and brain MRI all came back normal. Doctor says there's nothing else they can do. I'm very, very annoyed and have no idea what I'm supposed to do next. I just want my eyes to STOP. SHAKING.

I’m wondering if you may be suffering with some kind of post viral fatigue syndrome. I am going through something a little similar but not with the eyes. All my tests are negative too and I think thus is what I am going to get diagnosed with. Ocular disturbance, fatigue, dizziness, a new pattern of headaches, aches and pains and ibs symptoms all come under this umbrella term. Sometimes the initial virus isn’t obvious. My advice is to seek out a new doctor that is a bit more understanding or ask to be referred to a specialist (are you in uk or US?). Consider alternative therapies too (nutritionist/homeopath etc). Be honest with them about ALL of your symptoms. If your bloods and scans show everything is fine then that is a good sign. Good luck.
