Hi i am 9 weeks into a partial knee replacement which has gone well.
I'm going to be returning back to work next week witch will couse some pain so was hoping that someone could tell me if cold sprays are any good for my knee as I will not have access to my ice packs
Many thanks waggie
Cold sprays are a great quick fix but they don't really last long. You can get cold strips which last much longer
There is a thing called Bio Freeze which may help. Liquid, gel or spray. You may also want to consider a Cryo Cuff. Very portable. Used it many, many times at work for shoulders (2X) and knees (4X) after ops. Cycle the cold water into the sleeve and disconnect from the jug. Reattach, drain the warm, recycle the cold, detach. Simple.
