Colds

Ever since i went into menopause it seems like I have been having trouble with colds or allergies. While on HRTs can people get colds and allergies easily.

It started on Friday night while I was on my nasal mask for my c-pap machine, my nose started running and I just started sneezing like crazy, then my left nostril bleed a little when i put on my full fase mask for my c-pap machine.

I am still sneezing and my nose runs my nose is looking red and white from blowing a lot

Has anybody dealt with colds and allergies like this durring the summer. My boyfriend says i have more color in me than I did over the weekend

Hi, I also use a C-PAP machine and find it a real pain as I can't read a book to go to bed and R-E-L-A-X, as I now have to use reading glasses and can't manage those with the mask.  Anyway, that is my problem with the menopause, relaxation ... I used to read a book in bed, I can't do that for fear I will fall asleep without my mask on.  (I have been using the mask for 2 years which coincides with my loss of periods.)  I am 52, last period just before 50th Birthday, my Birthday is tomorrow.  I too, have had loads of colds in the last couple of years and have seemed to suffer from Hay-fever for the first time ever, as well as not being able to go into the sea in Dorset for the last five years without coming out in a bright red rash with itches - uticaria - I think it is called.  Last year, having been suffering with hay fever (apparently) I took an anti-histamine tablet and did not get the reaction from going into the sea.  I concluded that it must be an allergic reaction.  I have never suffered from any of this before and have always loved swimming in the sea, always, my mum used to call me 'a fish!'  The menopause seems to make the body much more sensitive to everything.  I am now suffering with soreness during sex and even around the clitoris.  Does anyone else have this problem and what do you do about it?   Sorry, don't want to take over your post  Suffice to say that yes, I think the menopause makes the body much more sensitive in lots of ways.  I don't have any answers though.  I am not on HRT, I took it for 3 months and felt great but stopped and have been trying to get through it.  Yoga is my salvation and I do that to relax and tone my body, I recommend that as it really helps!  Off to do some yoga and meditation now, in fact, I will send you an OMMMMM and lots of love. xxx

Thank you

I had not thought of it before, but I definitely have had some sinus issues since the big "M" has taken over.
