I live in singapore I hv sudden sensorineural earing loss in my right ear and ear and head pressure I am living in pain all the time . tinnitus on both my eats. can anyone pls tell me colear implant what's the experience. In singapore they don't hv a support group for me to talk to before deciding on colear implant. Ent drs can't even diagnosis my head ear pressure 😢I want my life back !!!

You should check support groop for hearing loos only. Meniere's destroy middle ear functions and balance . In our case hearing
loss irreversible side effect. At least, it what I understand.
that is a drastic step to take for something like this. Before my diagnosis I had lost almost all hearing in my left ear. after a round of steroid treatment failed I saw an ENT doctor who started me on a diuretic. The US does not have Betahist as is used in Europe. Research Meinere's disease treatments and bring this to your ENT. Ask for either a diuretic or Betahist trial. The tinnitis probably will not go away but the treatment did help my ear pressure and hearing. Singapore is such a big place they are bound to have someone there who has experience in Meniere's. It may take some looking but surgery should be your last option.
