i was wondering if anyone had similar experiences while reducing their SSRI for depression/anxiety?
in june last year when i was reducing venlafaxine i've had a strange incident in which i got very nauseous after i had reduced the dosage from about 44mg to 37.5mg and at work i collapsed, was very pale and had cold sweats. after about an hour of lying down it got better but after another hour it started again. a colleague then drove me home from work when i got so nauseous i had to vomit. this repeated a few times that day and the coming days and weeks i felt very weak unitl it finally subsided a couple of weeks later.
now that i am on escitalopram i've had a similar experience when i reduced from 12mg to 8mg yet it was not that strong as last year.
i haven't been able to make out why this happens.
any similar experiences or clues?
