Hello. Just had a colonoscopy today. Dr. said afterwards and in paperwork that all was good. I was looking at the pictures he sent home with me and saw this this thing on the left. Any idea what that is? I plan on calling in morning but it's after hours right now. Thanks.
Good idea to ask to put your mind at rest. I'm not a medical person, so don't know. It could be something totally normal or something as simple as a little bit of left over faeces, or a tiny polyp I suppose, but those are usually removed during the colonoscopy.

Did you have a biopsy at all? Just wondering if this photo was taken after biopsy
No biopsies taken. He said all looked great. And made sure to say no polyps to my husband in recovery.
All you can do is make sure you ask the dr and get some reassurance. I can’t seem to find anything via internet as to what it could be. Anything suspicious surely would of been dealt with there and then. I think you need reassurance from them and don’t give in until you get it x
