Does your flow go from a light pink color to a very deep, deep red with heavy flow and clots? So scary.
Have you had a vaginal u/s? I have all kinds of spotting, bleeding, light, heavy. Can’t recall having any pink. It’s usually more on the brown side, sometimes stringy looking. If you have an u/s they can look for anything abnormal, and then will probably recommend a biopsy. I was told my endometrial walls were thickened, but I’m going to wait until end of summer, trying progesterone cream to see if things get back to normal, before doing the biopsy. Only because I’ve been tested out the wazoo for everything under the sun already. Need a doctor break.
I did, right before they stopped.
Yes, I get this, too. It's very common for women in perimenopause and nearing menopause per my doctor. My doctor said bleeding patterns can be all over the map during this time and most likely related to wild hormone fluctuations. My cousin is my same age, 47 and she got the Mirena coil and it helped tremendously with heavy flow and spotting.
If your anxiety and symptoms continue, please see your doctor, you shouldn't have to suffer. There are many options to help. Take care! XO--Sarah
