Common mouth sores

I get mouth sores quite frequently, and observed that whenever I get them it ends with some specific stomoach conditions, altimately when that condition clears by passing stool with large amount of mucas, sores start shrinking, and keep on drinking water and urinating, sores literally vanish in ours. Please share if some have similar experience

Hi Knowme I've got ulcerative colitis. For your pattern- no I've never had mouth sores or that experience so you're probably thinking, well, that's no help why is this person replying to my question? I'm replying because sorry to hear that you've got this & want to ask obvious question have you been to see your GP  & said you want to see someone who specialises in this. Do you have arthritis at all? Your digestive tract sounds as though it's not happy in some way. Large amount of mucus? You know that that's not right. Please don't leave it get it checked out soon & don't be fobbed off by a GP that doesn't  specialise in gastro conditions. I'm not trying to worry you at all but just don't want you to get really unwell before you've been examined & properly diagnosed. Good luck please keep us posted.

I get a mouth ulcers and my tongue burns then like you I start with stomach problems. I was diagnosed 2013 with ulcerative colitis after years and years of stomach problems I have also been diagnosed with enteropathic arthritis which is all connected to my UC I'm having case studies done. I have been up and down been on all kinds of medication. go to your GP and tell them you want a referral to gastro.

UC is confined to the colon. Sores or ulcers else where in the digestive system such as the mouth is an indication that you have Cronhs.

You must see your GP.

Kind regards Bob.

Hi Knowme I have had UC for nearly 8 yrs & a month ago started getting large very sore mouth ulcers. They're not tiny white dots on tongue I've had in the past but large ones under my tongue, making it painful to eat. Saw Gastro Dr last wk who doesn't think it's related to my colitis but is arranging for me to have a gastroscopy & flex sig just to check as been having a flare up (passing blood & mucus) & meds not working. Cold sores are usually related to Crohn's.

You need to get referred to Gastro Dr & get checked out. If it is Gastro related the sooner you start treatment the better. Good luck.

Hi kittd, please tell me what you been doing all those eight years to get Releaf from sores?

Hi, sorry I didn't make it clear but I have only suffered with mouth ulcers for the past month. I bought bonjela but it didn't work, got some Gelclair from my GP which seemed to work but yesterday more ulcers have started.

Have you been to yr GP yet? It's definitely something you need checking out. Let us know how you get on.

X

Dear kittd, I have to GPs and to gastro specialists but all in same no solution, though I am sure it is related to food toxicity and stress, please comment on conditions which come and go with these sores I mentioned in my first post.
