Hi everyone,
Due to unsuccessful hernia repair in 2014 and many post op complications, I now suffer from a massive incisional hernia with loss of domain and as a result I look 9 months pregnant (which isn't a good look for a man). This certainly interferes with my mobility and daily living due to severer pain. My surgeon at Queens Medical Centre have recommended a total abdominal wall reconstruction with a technique called component separation. However in order for this to happen I need to loose 4st but having difficulties achieving this as I'm not allowed to exercise. If anyone has/had this type of surgery please get in touch as I'm going out my head with worry.
Many thanks in advance x
