Computer and Tv Migraines

I had a minor car accident 18 months ago and my neurologist diagnosed. Me with post concussion. Syndrome which is basically migraine symptoms.

However since October 2013 I have not only suffered severe headaches I have had increased headaches using computers, phones, reading and can not even go near a tv screen without setting off a major migraine attack.

I am currently taking lamotrigine and zonisamide for my migraines.

Does anyone else suffer with similar symptoms and if so is there any help out there as this is life debilitating. I cannot work and it has changed my family life considerably. I have not worked since October last year. I hate it.

I'm badly affected by screens: TV, computer, iPad, some phones, it really tires my eyes and triggers a migraine.  I've found some orange-tinted glasses made by Medi-View really help, they at least let me use screens now.  They work by blocking the blue light.  I still have to limit my time with screens/TV so I don't overdo it though.

Hi helen i also use Mediview they seem to Kinda work ok, when you pop them on its a bit like closeing them your eyes stat to relax.

if you try these and they work and want some stylish ones, Nudge me on PM, ive done some reseacrh into OAKLEY glasses and which lens type we need as Migrairs, Oakley dont do them as strong as MediView but they do block Blue light and other colours to a %... As if you totally block it, Guess what you cant see Blue smile

Thanks, I did try the green medi-view but they didn't seem to make much difference? Sounds like there are other options out there then. I wonder if they would help with the 'concentrated' work too - can't read, write, iron any focussed work etc either without severe headaches - life's a little dull at the moment!!

Sounds really interesting....
