Ive got a question/concern: Ive been on Fluoxetine (prozac) for 2yrs now but all of a sudden within the last 6months my depression as worsened with suicidal thoughts, and in the past week I vomit every time I take my pill. What is going on??

If you are having these suicidal thoughts then we strongly recommend you speak to someone who may be able to help. The Samaritans offer a safe space where you can talk openly about what you are going through. They can help you explore your options, understand your problems better, or just be there to listen.

What dose are you on? I started on 20mg for 8 years and had the same thing happen. I was upped to 40mg for many years and felt great. Unfortunately I felt so great I quit cold turkey and am now getting back on them.
As you get older your liver etc will work differently, and of course Prozac and Norfluoxetine levels are governed by how they are metabolized. You may just need a dose increase.
