Just wondering for some clarity on NGU. some sites describe it as a totally different STI to clymiddia amd ghonnaria as if its seperate “caused by”
I have no symptoms of NGU that have been diagnosed - i do have anxiety that causes frequent urination and occasional discomfort.
my question is i have had 3 x urine test (male) for ghonnaria and clyamidia all negative and no further sexual contact. does that mean if i did have NGU its not causes by Ghonnaria or Clymiddia or do i need a GUM to specifically test for NGU.
I know that NGU can be caused by other bactirum some sexualy transmitted others not or even virus so i cant test for everything, its also worth noting that my only recent sexual contact was oral so this makes Mgen unlikely im told. Im not asking if i deff dont have NGU just that if i have got it its not caused by Ghonnaria or Clymidia
i ask because a private clinic suggests that you are tested for NGU because it can not show symptoms - but dont want to go down that route if all they will do is the same tests i have already done 3 times. it mentions a urine teat with a 2-3 day turn around so pretty much the same as other tests i have done.
