Hi Everyone

Hope you are all well.

Im trying to get my head around this fat intake.

Please forgive me if you find the following a bit too much info!

Am I right in thinking that I need to have approx 15g of fat in a meal...this in turn will result in some oil when I go to the toilet. If I have too much that is when the leaking starts??

I think ive been doing this wrong in that ive been eating hardly any fat so I dont see any orange oil ever. I was also bunged up. For the past few days Ive tried to get as near to 15g as possible and im no longer bunged up and i am seeing oil only when I \"go\". I now feel as if the weight is shifting at last.

I didnt get any info from my doctor and havent had any response from MAP.

Can someone let me know if ive finally got this right????

Alipaly...like the handle by the way...good thinking. We are all different but the general idea is that you should have between 25-30 grams of fat PER DAY....not 15 grams per meal. So given those figures you can spread the grams over 3 meals....perhaps little for breakfast and more for the other meals. You'll get there!

Ok, I am still a little confused then!!! The 'instructions' say to spread you intake of carbs, fat and protein over breakfast, lunch and dinner. Does it not matter if theis is equal cos I was a little worried as nevr eat much for breakfast, just cereal and fruit, thougt if meals had to be even that I would be eating very small lunches and teeny tiny dinners!!!

You don't have to have three equal amounts in the day...just arrive at between 25 -30 grams at the end of your day of eating. Use the grams whatever way you like....don't forget that you probably take milk for your cereal so that's the fat there for breakfast.

I've just been out for a meal....salmon and salad.....apple crumble and ice cream...cappuccino.....no bluey....feel too full but had a voucher to spend. Didn't want to go at all but someone had paid for us to have a treat.
