Hey ladies.. So I've been on the depo injection for roughly 10 years and myself and my partner both decided for me to come off it. I came off it in December 2018 and quickly my periods came back in June 2019 and they came back just as they was 10 years ago. Heavy, painful and annoying. But they were regular and I could time perfectly when I was going to come on and I have a 28 day cycle. Lucky me ey? Well we had booked our potentially final holiday abroad as just me and him and I wanted to do everything I possibly could without anything stopping me, being due on whilst away I went to my doctors and asked if there was anything I could just to prevent it for a week until I was home. I was given a tablet called Provera and told to take it 2 days before my period was due and carry on taking it until I was ready to come back on. So I did this. Well I was due to come back on the 27th September and it's now the 5th of October and my period is very odd.. There is nothing in my sanitary towel and its dry. But when I urinate there is period blood there, I have all the usual signs of my period painful cramps, moody, emotional, want to eat chocolate everything is as it usual is when I am on there is just no blood. Now I've done 2 tests and both have a negative result and I've read up in implantation bleeding or whatever it's called but I have 0 symptoms other than my usual period ones. So the questions I'm wanting the answer to really is. Have i just totally screwed up my period by taking this so called delay tablet? Is this normal? I just don't know what to think. And trying to get into see my GP is horrific. But obviously I'm going to keep trying to get an appointment. Thanks in advance guys!!
implantation bleeding happens in pregancy when the egg implants i had implantation bleeding that lasted for about a week when i got pregnant with my daughter it was a light pink color and felt just like a period i went to the hospital to get checked as id had a positive pregnancy test so thought was a miscarrige and they said it was implantation mine was actually coming out onto the pad tho and was about ad heavy as a period but it was a different color
Yeah I did read all about that. 2 negative tests and my blood is just like period blood just only when wiping. Someone did say it could be withdrawal blood? I guess the only way to determine anything is by going to the doctors. Thank you for taking the time to read it and reply.
