Of course even if theres no symptoms present you can still be infected so body to body contact sex oral sex can all get you infected
Tbh i wouldnt worry too much until you know however bloodtests do not always give an accurate result the best way to know if you have herpes is to swab from a blister/sore but if you havnt had any then theres out of the question
Herpes can stay dormant for years like mine did or people can have an outbreak around 2 weeks after they have come into contact with the virus.
Please dont stress yourself with it. Even if you do have even though theres no cure its so easily managed its not nice having it but you learn to deal with ot and change your lifestyle to suit it
I have been with my partner nearly 5 years and i had my first outbreak last november dont know how long i had it or how i got it or who from they are questions nobody will ever be able to answer

If you do have it you have to deal with it mentally and physically before you can move on give yourself a few weeks ect to come to terms with it and in the end i promise you. You will reaslise its not all that bad its still not nice having it but you cope with it
I looked at it as it could have veen worse and some people do have worse it honestly doesnt affect my life too much apart from the odd outbreak but i have been lucky with them and i am in a loving relationship
Dont let it stress you too much or get you down theres alot more people that have herpes then you think some dont even know they have it and could be lucky enough to never have an outbreak keep your chin up im here if you need to talk x
