Any thoughts on starting methimazole 20mgs daily even though i have low iron?

I wonder why are you confused by taking 20mg MMI when you have low iron?

From some case study/report, Aplastic Anemia (AA) may be caused by ATM treatment (very rarely). If one already suffers low iron because of GD, it doesn't mean anemic has occurred. In my opinion, taking MMI with supplement iron would be recommended. Also, consult with your doctor for this issue to clarify your question for sure.
