I was tested in November hsv 1/2 igm:negative. Igg hsv 1: 0.19.(negative). Hsv 2: 0.15(negative). Tested again in June. IGG; Hsv 1: 0.17 (negative) IGG; hsv 2: 0.11(negative) IGM; hsv 2: positive 1.11 index False positive or do I have it?
from what ive read igm levels rise first when you first get the virus, & within a few weeks/months igg antibodies take over. if your igm levels are elevated, i would assume you recently were exposed to the virus, did they test igg levels this last time as well?
im sorry i just saw that in june they did test for igg, i just got a confirmed diagnosis through igg a month after my first outbreak, i would advise you to get retested in about a month. what did your doctor say about the igm?
