Confusion

Hello All, Im a 44 year old female. In the last couple of months ive been digonised with Meniere's Disease I have lost 50% of my hearing in my left ear which is constant with titnnitus. I to have virtgo spells and sickness but the worse thing for me is confusion and the only way to explain this is my brain dont seem to funtion have trouble doing simple things like spelling, reading and I mispalcing things, this seems to affect nearly all the time, does anyone else suffer from this as not seen it mentioned anywhere.

Hello Emma, I was mis-diagnosed with Menier's many years ago. Wasted years taking the wrong drugs.

Have you seen more than one doctor? Neurology dept. should be a plece you go as well. Get several opinions.

I did not have Menier's but I had confusion as part of my problem. I believe this part is something I had to overcome, no pill for this. I is still necessary for me to take notes about the things I need to do.

I hope you find a doctor with a brain. Easier said than done.

Good luck. Dan T.

It doesn't sound like Menieres to me either. These are not the symptoms I have at all. - 2nd opinion!

Hi, confusion and multi tasking issues are common factors with Meniere's Disease. So is the lack of ability to concentrate  for lengthy periods. As your health improves your abilities will come back.

Hello, thanks for the comment not everyone suffers from these symptoms but my specialist has also said they part of MD I find them very hard to cope with as constantly ill hopefully they will get better.

Hello Jackie, they are part of having MD, not everyone gets

these symptoms but unfortunately for me, I am one of them.
