Constant gassy/bubbly stomach

For the past 6 months, everytime I eat I have been getting a constant gassy/bubbly stomach. It's super annoying, painful and frustrating! I have sensitivities to both dairy and gluten so I've cut them completely out of my diet, I've also tried everything from prilosec to zantac to gasx and nothing has helped. I've been previously diagnosed with IBS and GERD but never had any issues like this. I know stress could be a factor as well (I'm a 20 yr old in college. )

Stress always makes my IBS flare. I think stress is the main cause of all those symptoms you are having. I get the same symptoms when I am experiencing a lot of stress. Try to get that stress under control and see if you feel better.

If you are stressed because of the subjects you are taking, studying and the forthcoming examinations that can cause IBS, it will not be helping you with any stress you may have. I was in a right state when in my teens and twenties what with all the studying and examinations.

Remember life is not all study you also need time of to clear your brain and renew your brain power, take regular breaks with your studies and homework, have a night out at the weekend, We all need some play to bounce back and maintain concentration

You could have words with your GP if you are low, although personally I would keep of the medications/drugs you will numb down your brain and you may become more concerned because of it.

When you see your GP discuss the problems you feel you have with your diet and He should be able to help with that as well

Gas and a bubbling stomach are IBS symptoms.  Try avoiding broccoli, cabbage Brussels sprouts and fizzy drinks which can cause gas.  Try a food diary to pinpoint other food triggers. Have you heard of Low Fodmap?  GERD is common with IBS and can cause the symptoms you have described.
