Constant inner ear itching at night doctor cant help(!)

Hi

I'm a 36 year old male and had my ear wax removed via suction back in November 2017. Since then I've been having an itchy sensation from my left inner ear and it's driving me crazy. It really gets bad at night and really affects my sleep.

Ive been to the doctor FIVE times who has prescribed tablets, ear drops and steroid cream but nothing helps. Doctor states they cannot do anymore as they can't see any signs of infection.

What could this be? Please help me smile

Hey, I’ve got the same symptoms!  Had wax removed and the pain and itching remained.  I’m dizzy most of the time which has stopped me learning to drive. Doctors say my ear looks ‘normal’ 🤦🏻‍♀️ This started 3 years ago and has never gone away. I’m going  to ask for an allergy test as not sure what else to do. Maybe you could do the same?  Is it worse for you after a shower?
