I'm wondering if anyone else has had the same problem. Recently, I been to the hospital for heart palpitations and they deduced it was anxiety based on my EKG test and blood test. Tomorrow I have a Holter test too, so hopefully they find something.I have had symptoms like sharp chest pain, but they were only occasional. And I also sort of have a joint ache in my left shoulder that aches whenever I lift my arm. Any ideas?
I don’t know anything for certain, but I can at least tell you my story. I had the weirdest chest pains that lasted for a bit and worried me along with what else you describe. I had an ekg to make sure and when I got it done the doctor was like go to the ER now! So I went and they did another ekg, blood work, chest x rays the whole thing. Few hours later they came back and told me I was cleared and everything was normal. Obviously the anxious side of me was curious so I had an echocardiogram performed. Also came back normal along with more ekg and blood work that was normal. Every doctor I’ve seen once I tell them immediately say it’s your anxiety. So I’ve come to the conclusion that yeah it must be anxiety/stress induced and that you too will be fine. It’s awful and sucks but you have to push through and it’ll be ok!
