Hey guys, I'm posting this on behalf of my gran. She's been suffering from a really sore stomach for several weeks now, and we don't really know what's up with her. She says that the pain is sharp, sometimes jagging, ranging from mild to severe on different days. She's already been to the doctors and had tests on her kidneys, liver, and thyroid, all of which have come back clear. The pain seems to be getting worse, any idea what it could be? Any suggestions would be much appreciated
I'm sorry to hear about your Gran. Did this come on suddenly?? Havs she had her gallbladder removed? Appendix..... I'm no Doctor but I had similar pains with gallbladder. It could be so many things but don't give up, doctors are stumped to diagnose most stomach problems. I wish you both we'll keep us posted. Also I'm thinking IBS too it can cause a lot is pain as you describe. I personally take baby gripe water it seems simple but it is my go to with tummy upsets.....good luck
I would advise her to go back to see her GP
i just posted about my daughter going through same thing. she had an ovarian cyst..but still having some pains. Did every test you can think of. Next is food allegist. You should try taking her to Gastroenterologist first. If need be, they can do endoscopy to see what's going on in her stomach if need be.
