Constant right ear fluttering, swollen right lymph node, and neck pain!

Hello all! This is my first time posting on here, let me know if I am missing anything! I am a 21yo female in California, and I have been having this very strange and quite annoying fluttering in my right ear. I should probably preface this with some recent health history: a few weeks ago I had a small bit of a sore throat and post nasal drip. It may be the aftermath of my strep throat, which I took a 5-day antibiotic run for it- that happened about a month ago (right before the sore throat). It went away successfully, but like I said: I had lingering uncomfortability and some mucus stuff going kn. Also, in August, I had mono which also put my throat and lymph nodes through the ringer in general! The fluttering/throbbing does not hurt. My hearing is beyond fine, I do not feel any pressure. It is just a very weird and quite annoying fluttery feeling. It has gotten a lot more frequent in the last week (it's been going on for 2 weeks now), almost every few seconds now!! When I called the Kaiser advice nurse line when it had been going on for just a few days, she recommended a hot compress and a decongestant. I tried a hot water bottle and my ear did not flutter when it was applied, but not even a minute after the heat was gone would it start again :( what's up with that? Then, about 6 days ago, I noticed my right lymph node was swollen and hard :/ not painful, and no sore throat. The swelling hasn't gone down yet and continues to stay firm if I push down on it. One last strange thing about this all is I have light neck pain- but only on the back right? I may just be imagining this as well, but I may have *very* slight pain in my lymph nodes under the armpits as well...?

By the fluttering/ throbbing… could it instead be catagorised as like feeling a pulse in your ear?

Your previous history of ENT problems could have triggered some hiccups is ear health. The hot compress is classic ease from inflammation (a cause of feeling a pluse-like sensation in the ear).
Neck pain I wouldn’t read into much… honestly don’t Google it, it’s not worth the “what if it’s this… omg it might be that… omg I might need that surgery… or it’s just a strain” :face_with_tongue:

I would ask to be reviewed by an ENT specialist due to ongoing ENT problems.
