I'm in my mid twenties I've had permanent stinging in my vagina since puberty. It's ruining my life. The pain on a day-to-day basis isn't too bad just a slight stinging sensation, but having sex would be impossible as the slight stinging turns to a sharp pain as soon as anything penetrates. I went to see a gynocologist before Covid-19 hit. He confirmed the I had PCOS. I haven't had a period since my first when I was about 13 (without taking the pill and getting withdrawal bleeds) but when I asked him about the pain he just told me it was 'in my head.' I've also been to see urologist as well and had a Cystoscopy as well as a scan of my kidneys and they all looked fine too. My vagina is very lumpy and I have constant discharge- to the point I have to wear a pad. I occasionally have bad pain in my lower back, although it was much, much worse when I was a teenager. I don't know if that might be relevant? I also get period pain on and off, but no period. Has anyone had similar symptoms and got a diagnosis? I feel like going to see a doctor seems to be useless unless I have at least some idea of what it is. I've never been sexually abused or had any kind of sexual trauma so there would be no reason that I would be 'imagining the pain' but the doctors don't seem to have any answers?
You need a second opinion from a more competent doctor.
