I had a tooth fall out a few months and since googling symptoms and things on the internet I have convinced myself I am going to die. I haven't slept in what seems like weeks. The tooth isn't there anymore and I don't feel an absess and it doesn't ever really even hurt. Yet my brain has convinced itself that I am going to die from sepsis or brain infection from it. I could really use some help if anyone would.
You are not goingto die from this. You were stunned an shocked from the sound of it and so would anyone be. Demi Moore has two front teeth msising and she is still here. However to reassure yourself I would suggest seeing your dr and perhsps he/she may do tests such as crp, inflammatory markers to check the infection has completely cleared up. Infection, even lingering can make one feel pretty lousy. Take care

I am so glad I found this this! I am sorry you are feeling anxious about your tooth. Let me tell you, a few years ago I had a tooth infection which turned into an abscess before I had a chance to get root canal, you will 100% know when you have one!! And if you have had that tooth treated the chances of you getting them are so minimal, honestly you will be fine! I ended up having my abscess for 2 weeks and it wasn't responding to the antibiotics, I ended up in hospital as it did start to poison me and guess what, I survived!! It really never gets to that in this day and age. This is coming from someone with severe dental anxiety, if you have had it treated you will be absolutely fine xx
Sorry I also just read your tooth fell out, if the tooth is completely out there will be no root to get infected!! Trust me you will know if there is an infection, I would still get it checked out at the dentist to make sure that it's all out though!
