I was diagnosed with hsv-1 genitally like over 8 years ago. This type is not supposed to be near as bad as straight up hsv 2 genital herpes. But anyway. I had my first outbreak like I said 8 years ago and it was excruciating blisters all over. Most of them were where the pubic hair does not grow. Closer to my actual vaginal area you could say. Ever since then I’ve never had an outbreak like that. But what I do get is a tingle sensation and then a tender feeling on my outer vaginal lip and a little bumb right where the hair starts to grow (if that makes sense) . The bump is a little painful, it blisters, then it’s gone in a week. I only get these one at a time but they are always in that same spot. The outer lips where hair starts to grow. I would normally think it’s an ingrown hair if it didn’t open like a blister. I’ve started getting these very frequently like 2x a month. Just a single bump. If I didn’t have a herpes diagnosis, i would just assume it’s ingrown hairs. Does anyone else have this problem or know why I am getting them so frequently? I’m married and have the same partner.. and really haven’t done anything different down there lately.
