Went to see him yesterday and he said on the result's of the ph test he won't do the op, he as advised me to lose weight and he's doubled my tablet's to 60mg a day and ive got to take gaviscon 4 times aday for a while but he didn't say how long for though, he thinks my gullet is going into spasms because i have a lot of stress, so ive got to see him 12th nov.
In away i'm glad i'm not having the op because it's a big thing to go through, my husband did say to him that the weight doesn't make any differance because ive been slim and it was still the same but i will go to weight watchers like he suggested and at least it proves i'm trying,so ive got 4 month's to lose some weight before i see him again.
Sweetheart I know that it isnt much what they have told you but at least its a start.I too have had weight issues and basically it hasnt helped one jot me losing nearly 8 stones,I still get the pain whatever weight I am.Just recently I have noticed a big lump of either fat or bloatedness to the right side under my rib cage,it is driving me mad because none of my clothes will fit because of the bulge.I cannot undestand it because I am back at the gym and burning the cals off like mad but the bulge doesnt go!!! If you need any advice on the healthy eating stuff etc.you know where I am hun xx
Keep well and your chin up hun

Wow on the 8 stone loss that is fantastic, how did you do it ? ive started cutting down today, so it's early day's yet ive got a long way to go i need to lose 6 stone in all, the bit i hate is the flab on my back.
Sweetheart, firstly losing any kind of weight is very hard and you need a strong support network via family and friends.Next you need a lot of willpower, when all around you is temptation,it takes a lot to say no.I am not suggesting to deprive yourself but just keep everything in balance and in moderation.if you need any info please dont hesitate to ask
Take care,keep well
