I've had the contraceptive implant in my left arm since the start of December. It itchys and feels like my arm is on fire it itches so badly. My arm also feels very sore and uncomfortable if I stretch it upwards or if I'm using it to change my top or something similar. Please help,could it be infected or something else??
Ive read alot on internet about it being itchy... Ive only had mine for one week (one week of hell and hospital visits lol), have a trip to your gp or a nurse? Easiest way to know if everythings ok or not:-)
I have the doctors on the 16th which is 3 days away so ill ask then. I honestly want to scratch it but I know it'll only make it worse so trying to avoid! Thanks😊

I would get it checked out - although it seems from your comment below like you might have already. I was on the implant for 2 years (Jadelle) and never had any itching really. I ended up getting it out though because I had constant bleeding (think: heavy periods) every day while on it..
