Symptoms: dry cough, vomiting, dizziness, aching joints and bones and weird dreams. I don't know what virus this is ; i did go to the doctor and got antibiotics, but I don't know if it's more serious.
If it is a virus antibiotics will NOT work. Your doctor must know that.
Yeah, antibiotics won't work for a viral infection, unless you actually have a bacterial infection.
There could be a lot of things that cause those symptoms, which is unfortunate because some of those things are serious.
If you have a fever and it is over 39.5 degrees Celsius or 104 degrees Fahrenheit, and it doesn't go down with medicine or within 24 hours, then see the doctors again. If your fever does go away but comes back and goes away and then comes back again, also go to the doctors.
Also, if you get dehydrated, go to the doctors, or if new symptoms arise.
It could be the flu or something you ate. If you have traveled to another country, then you may have caught something there.
Give it one solid weak and i bet youll be feeling a lot better. Sometimes viruses do lead to an infection which is what your doctor suspected as you gave you antibiotics. Drink lots of water and keep hydrated.
