So I suffer from crazy health anxiety and I have convinced myself that I have colon cancer. I was overusing laxatives for about 2 years and have officially stopped using them but ever since then I just have not felt the same. Ive had a HUGE change in my bowel habits. I also have bad pain in my left abdomen that goes up to my back on my left side and lower left back. So majority of the pain is on my left side. The pains do not go away and I constantly feel like I have to go to the bathroom even if I already go. I also have been having very thin stools and diarrhea which I see is another sign of CC with this rumbling feeling/pain starting in my rectum. Im convinced I have CC but I am a 22 year old male and from what I’ve seen my age range is very rare for CC but I have been having literally all the pains and signs of it. I also have read that laxative abuse can increase your risk of the disease. I’ve had blood work done, a stomach X-ray done and a stomach ultrasound and everything came back fine but I’m pretty sure that none of that can detect or look at the colon.
