I was recently sorting through some old Hospital paperwork and came across a letter dated February 2019 about a result I had from a CT scan of my chest, at the time I had a bad cough and breathing problems, thankfully all was OK.
But in this letter the Doctor also mentioned and I quote “the CT scan also shows that there’s a heavy coronary artery calcification and I note that he is already taking Simvastatin”.
My GP who also received a copy of this letter has never mentioned this and I am wondering if it is something that I should be worried about?
