My daughter has been approved to have this operation done (she is nearly 19 years old) and had suffered from drop attacks among other seizures types for the past 10 years. Is there anyone out there who has had this operation or knows somebody who has and how are they? ANy deficits, problems and whats the improvement in their seizure control like? Please help - I am beside myself with worry over it.

Sorry to hear about your daughters Epilepsy, I have had mine since puberty.
I am on phenobarbitone, since 14. Now in my 60's. (late 60's)
I guess your Daughters are bad as you are thinking of op.
