My dr has just prescribed Cosopt eyedrops. Has anyone had any experience with these drops. If so, did they help to lower pressure & did u experience side effects.
I use them - they keep the iop < 20 (at least for me for now).
Only side effect I've experienced are the thickened and longer eye lashes.
Hi yes been on cosopt on and off for 3 years now there are pretty effective but no good if you have low blood pressure or bradycardia (low heart rate) as they can cause this. The effect of pressure reduction seems to reduce over time. They have given me a baggy appearance around the eyes making me look tired and can cause blood shot eyes occasionally.
